I just returned from the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, where I witnessed our first female candidate of a major political party nominated for President of the United States of America. Of the many inspirational speeches that I heard, Dr. Jill Biden’s resonated with me when she stated, “Education is the great equalizer and community colleges are America’s best-kept secret.” I couldn’t agree more! And that’s why I’m continuing to fight for City College of San Francisco.
It’s no secret that running a successful campaign requires funding. This year, the race is highly competitive, which means that every dollar counts that much more. The candidates continue to raise large amounts of money, and I need your financial help to make sure I can continue to fight to keep City College accessible, available, and affordable for our entire community. Can you help by contributing $50, $100, $250, or $500 today? No amount is too small.
Together we can fuel a competitive campaign that will allow me to continue being a pragmatic, independent leader for City College. With your help, I can continue making City College the great equalizer that Jill and Joe Biden talked about.
Please back Bacharach and contribute today! Thank you for your continued support!
Ps: I’m proud to add SEIU 1021 and the San Francisco Building and Construction Trades Council, as well as District Attorney George Gascón, Public Defender Jeff Adachi, and Mayor Ed Lee, to my growing list of endorsements!
